How We Help

Support for Families Navigating Life's Transitions

Amos Advocates Community Foundation supports parents, children, and families navigating divorce, separation, co-parenting challenges, custody matters, and other difficult family transitions. We provide educational resources, practical tools, connections to community resources, and community-based assistance initiatives designed to help families find information, support, and hope during challenging seasons.

Section 1

Family Resource Center

AACF provides free educational guides, checklists, worksheets, and resource directories to help families navigate common issues related to divorce, separation, co-parenting, children, emotional wellness, and family transitions. All materials are available at no cost and are designed to be practical, accessible, and easy to use.

These materials are for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.

Section 2

Community Resource Connections

Individuals and families may contact AACF when they are trying to locate appropriate community resources. AACF may help identify or share information about organizations that provide services such as counseling and mental-health support, domestic-violence resources, emergency housing and shelter resources, legal-aid resources, parenting and co-parenting support, child and family services, and other community-based assistance.

AACF provides resource information and connections and does not guarantee eligibility, availability, acceptance, or services from any third-party organization. AACF does not itself provide counseling, housing, legal services, or financial assistance.

Section 3

Community Outreach & Giving Initiatives

Throughout the year, AACF may organize community outreach and giving initiatives based on identified needs, available resources, donations, volunteers, and community partnerships. These initiatives may include school-supply drives, seasonal giving projects, family resource distributions, and other community efforts.

Example: In 2026, AACF organized a Back-to-School Backpack & School Supply Drive, distributing backpacks and school supplies to local students to help them start the year with confidence.

Community initiatives are organized as resources and opportunities permit. Past initiatives are not a guarantee of future programs.

Section 4

Future Initiatives

We're growing. AACF is developing future educational programs, workshops, partnerships, and support initiatives designed around the needs of families navigating divorce, separation, co-parenting, and other family transitions. As programs become available, details and registration information will be posted on our website.

Future areas of focus may include co-parenting education, family-law education, parent support, wellness education, and community workshops. These are developing initiatives and are not currently available.
