Our Mission
Every Family Deserves a Path Forward.
We exist to ensure that no parent or child faces the challenges of divorce, separation, or family transition without access to compassionate support, practical education, and a community that cares.
Our Mission
The mission of Amos Advocates Community Foundation is to empower families navigating divorce, separation, co-parenting, and life transitions by providing holistic support through education, counseling referrals, legal resources, and community outreach — fostering healing, resilience, and hope for parents and children alike.
Our Vision
A community where every family — regardless of circumstance — has access to the resources, knowledge, and support they need to heal, grow, and thrive together.
How We Work
Our Holistic Approach
We believe that families in transition need more than a single resource — they need a whole ecosystem of support. That is why Amos Advocates addresses the emotional, legal, educational, and practical dimensions of family challenges through educational resources, community connections, and outreach initiatives designed to meet families wherever they are.
Our Four Pillars
The Dimensions of Our Support
Emotional
Connections to counseling, mental-health, support-group, and wellness resources, along with AACF educational materials designed to help families navigate difficult transitions.
Legal
Plain-language educational resources and connections to legal-aid, self-help, and attorney-referral resources that help families better understand where to seek legal assistance.
Educational
Guides, worksheets, checklists, and developing educational initiatives focused on co-parenting, communication, children, and healthy family transitions.
Practical
Community resource connections and outreach initiatives, such as school-supply and seasonal giving projects, offered as resources, partnerships, and opportunities permit.
